About the Region

Welcome to the states of Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming - The Real America.

We know that most visitors wisely choose to see our part of America not as four individual states, but as a region packed with an exciting variety of attractions, experiences and destinations. As you will discover, the region is full of majestic beauty, friendly people, exciting outdoor activities, fascinating historic sites, and endless opportunities for true western adventure and hospitality.

The region is BIG, covering two different time zones. It stretches over 400,000 square miles (over 1 million square kilometers) but holds less than 3 million people.  That works out to less than three people per squar kilometer!  Montana alone is roughly the size of Germany.

To make the region easily accessable, we are partnered with the internationally known cities of Denver, CO and the tri-cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul/Bloomington, MN.  All of which have great flight options into regional airports.
