   The Gateway City program is a partnership between the states of Idaho, Montana, South Dakota and Wyoming and three internationally known U.S. cities -- Chicago, Illinois, Denver, Colorado and Minneapolis/St. Paul/Bloomington, Minnesota.
The cities serve as excellent starting points for visitors entering the region. All three cities have direct international flights and have excellent connections from both the East and West Coasts of the U.S. and within The Real America region.
The cities themselves feature dynamic attractions, excellent lodging facilities and extensive shopping, dining and recreation opportunities. Distances from the RMI states range from just a few kilometers to a days drive and all have excellent transportation options. When planning a trip to The Real America region, be sure to include one of the Gateway Cities Chicago, Minneapolis/St. Paul/Bloomington or Denver. They are ready to serve travelers with true hospitality and amenities.
